Das neu gegründete Ensemble Zençir, das bei Salam Music seine Premiere feiert, verbindet historische und zeitgenössische Klangwelten und schöpft dabei seine Inspiration aus der Sammlung der Musik des moldawischen Prinzen, Universalgelehrten und Tanbur-Virtuosen Dimitrie Cantemir (Kantemiroglu).

Überspitzt und voller Ironie arbeitet sich das E3 Ensemble in Eine Ballettoper am Narzissmus der Kunstwelt, der Politik und an seiner eigenen Selbstverherrlichung ab. Getrieben von exzentrischem Gesang, Tanz und von Dada inspirierter Sprache wird verzweifelt versucht, die perfekt glänzende Fassade ja nicht bröckeln zu lassen. Was anfangs wie eine schräg-lustige Performance wirkt, entwickelt sich zum wahnwitzigen Horror. Mit poetischem Tiefgang und skurriler Leichtigkeit feiert diese zum Scheitern verurteilte Ballettoper das Bizarre, das Absurde und das Bitterböse.
